Shortly after the announcement of the new Exynos 2200 processor that will give life to the Galaxy S22, the first performance tests of this chip appeared on the first test platforms AnTuTu, to reveal the raw power of the processor that will work with the new Samsung flagship phones.
Specifically, the tests were conducted on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which should be the most complete and advanced model of the entire Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
2022 is the year when the first devices capable of passing 1 million AnTuTu Benchmark scores became a reality, and it was processors like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or MediaTek Dimensity 9000 that made it possible.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor in particular is the chip that will be inside the Galaxy S22 Ultra targeting the US market. In the first tests, it was seen how a device equipped with this processor was able to reach 1219 in the single-core Geekbench test, and 3154 in the multi-core test.
In the case of a phone with an Exynos processor, the scores are 1108 and 3516 points, respectively.
Recently there have been rumors that all Galaxy S22 devices can carry a processor
